How are we globally recognised?

The GSTC is a United Nations-initiated programme which sets the global baseline standards for sustainable travel and tourism. The GSTC has recognised The Sustainable Tourism Network’s criteria as being in line with their conditions.

How often do I pay membership fees?

Membership fees are to be paid annually.

How long does certification last?

Certification must be renewed every 2 years.

What levels of certification are there?

Certification is awarded at 2 levels. Gold and silver.

Do you work with non-tourism organisations?

Do I still pay membership once I am certified?

Yes, you must pay your membership fee annually. You must also pay audit fees every 2 years for recertification.

Do I need to be a member to avail of training?

Whilst you must be a member to access our online training sessions and receive our awards we can also provide training outside of this. We work with many organisations, public bodies etc to provide training sessions. These can be online or in person and tailor made to your specific needs.
