Open Call For Tourism Businesses Is Now Open!
I-STARS has launched the Open Call for Grants for Tourism Businesses addressed to tourism businesses operating in Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Italy and Spain. Tourism businesses can apply for a grant of up to €5,600 under the I-STARS programme.

What Is I-STARS?
The Island Sustainable Tourism Action Through Resilient SMEs (I-STARS) Project is a European-funded project all about accompanying tourism businesses on their journey towards sustainability and resilience through knowledge & skills, and through financial support by:
1. equipping them with skills & knowledge on sustainability and responsible business practices
2. financing their sustainability transition journey through grants worth up to €5,600 per applicant.
Our sister company Vagabond Tours Ltd. together with other European tourism business partners from offshore islands in Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Spain, will collaborate together on this project and their collective development will be boosted with sustainable innovations. This will be achieved through a capacity-building programme tailored for tourism Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), as well as through a subgrant scheme of up to €5,600 for each business. Deadline for tourism businesses to apply for the grant is 25 October 2023.

Budget: Total project budget €1,255,481.87 – EU Contribution €1,199,933.6
