Lauren Keogh

Lauren studied agriculture and environmental science at university. With a keen interest in the environment and tourism for her thesis Lauren examined the effects that tourism has had on the popular tourist townland of Brittas Bay Co. Wicklow. She has since completed work placements with Coillte, Teagasc and, best of all, gardening at the Botanic Gardens (Kilmacurragh) with the OPW. Who wouldn’t enjoy lots of satisfying green-fingered work and outdoor yoga?! After a brief stint working in a bank, Lauren joined Sustainable Travel Ireland as senior executive.

Lauren might be the youngest member of the team but she’s extremely organised and puts manners on us all. She’s a woman who gets things done. Lauren has completed the Sustainable Tourism Training Programme with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and is currently studying Climate resilience for Business.
